McKing developed and delivered trainings on how to conduct scientifically valid population-based surveys, including developing indicators for surveillance systems and assessing surveillance systems. Trainings are culturally sensitive and focus on planning, developing and conducting injury surveillance to meet each country’s needs.
McKing also provides expert programming and data analysis support to the Violence Against Children Survey (VACS). Our programmers design, develop, document and maintain data collection information systems. Often each country has its own capabilities and resource restrictions, so we develop a unique application for each country as well as user manuals for each country. Our staff also lead the data management, depuration and analysis activities including the development of quality assurance programs and reports to ensure the high quality data.
