Mr. McCliggott joined McKing in August of 2010, and he is responsible for contract administration and overseeing the company’s finances. He also serves as legal counsel, assisting with developing company policies and maintaining corporate compliance with all applicable regulations and laws. Mr. McCliggott manages and is the point of contract for the company’s GSA Schedules.
Prior to joining McKing, Mr. McCliggott was an attorney-advisor in Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Department of Homeland Security. He provided memoranda and advice to field officers on the legalities of prospective actions and drafted appellate decisions on petitions filed by importers of goods seized for border violations. He trained and lectured federal officials located throughout the United States as well as foreign enforcement officials on the methods of CBP intellectual property rights enforcement.
Mr. McCliggott graduated magna cum laude from American University’s Washington College of Law. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary.
